OS3 Dragons
OS3 Dragons are epoxy coated molded magnets at ceramic
strength. OS3 White Dragons are uncoated with a white painted
top. With the strength of ceramic magnet runs being hit or
miss, molded magnets are the logical way to go. Every magnet
is dead-on sized the exact same. Size selection has been
optimized to fit almost every chassis without the need for
sanding. This allows clubs the option to remove the need to
sand magnets and therefore the need to measure the gap if they
wish. These magnets have been test fit in every number and
lettered chassis at our disposal. As a side benefit, zapping
yields very little to no advantage. Gains in strength and
downforce are insignificant. They are tight in the front of
1-4 and 8 chassis and will fit all others, even a little loose
in some lettered chassis. On all magnets the color/color dot
denotes the style/strength and the white/silver dot denotes the
front magnet.
- Black Dragons are
Fray/SS strength equal or just a bit stronger than the strongest
Ceramic magnets available. Testing has showed that these
magnets are at or near the maximum point for what tjet magnets
should be. They add the needed braking for aftermarket arms
and allow backing off of the gap on Aurora arms. Top speed is
at the edge with some cars showing a slight drop when the gap is
minimized. Magnets can now be adjusted for performance vice
just being brought all the way in.
- White Dragons are
Fray/SS strength and are made to equal most DASH Ceramic
magnets. Their strength will be not be as strong as the
strongest DASH magnets but as strong or stronger than most.
- Blue Dragons are
slightly stronger than Aurora AFX strength. A throwback to
early Fray days before Johnny Lightning magnets came around.
They are not as strong as Super II magnets. An excellent
choice for support classes with Lexan bodies.
- Red Dragons are for
Stock Tjet classes. They are slightly stronger than the
strongest stock magnets but not as strong as the AFX magnets.
Great for all Stock classes without the need to search for that
special green/orange or unpainted pair. |
